Updates updates...

 I actually have a 'friend' on Facebook called Bell Boutique.....It's actually an online shopping site whereby you browse their pics and choose the items you like to buy and they even have free shipping within West Msia..*gasp!!*

So today they've uploaded a few pics..for some reason all along I was never tempted to buy anything..until today..I'm not sure what attracted me to the trinkets but something just pulled me in..I ended up viewing the latest photos..and so far I have already targeted 5 items to buy out of the 20+ new photos...Girls and shopping (what can I say?) be it in the mall or be it online shopping or even MAIL ORDER!..there's always a guarantee that we will buy something..goodness..So right now I have already saved the pictures..but I am looking and re-looking and re-re-looking to see if it's worth it to purchase online....Wanna see my choices?

These 2 are so far the ones that I really really really really really cannot let go off...I mean just look at the satiny feel of the hairband? and that crystal flower is just so chic and the ivory colour...I haven't got an ivory hairband..hmmm..as for the bracelet..Well what can I say? Imma sucker for Scottie dog motifs..XD

On a side note..Happy Birthday to my adorable sister....we kinda had a mini celebration at home since I couldn't go out because of some certain sem exams..but don't worry I will update the pics and edit the blogpost to include mementos from the celebration..(now no time to transfer pics)

Here it is..my sister's big day!!!

We bought her a cake from the nearby bakery..surprisingly this cake was the thing that made me and my mom talk again and thus ending the cold war between us following the 'Great Haircut Incident' anyway as coordinator of events I actually did get my mom to turn off the lights at the dining area and walked in holding the lighted cake whilst singing the birthday song..have to give credit to my 'papa' for giving me that idea..=)

My parents totally spoiled her....guess who's drinking that glass of water there????

And me again..camwhoring~ sigh..My fringe is emphasizing on my small eyes~

Bursting with Laughter

So today I woke up and was enjoying my breakkie of chocolate spread and bread from dunno where (but it has nuts in it and some flour on top...fishy~) when I decided..Hey...since Aunty/Froggie/Piggie/Sleep A Lot and Never Come Class/ etc  (AKA LENG ZAI) recommended me to read Kenny Sia's blog..why not lar..read during my breakfast? Since I'm kinda..unshackled...at the moment so I moved everything to my study to eat and surf his blog...

At 1st I read some post about his Melbourne trips then I navigate sikit and managed to find this section "Favourite Entries" So I thought to myself " Ok Lar..sure worth reading one.." Guess what I found...

For those of you who may not know what benglish is..it's basically the type of English you can see ah bengs/gangsta guys use around Malaysia..it consists of poorly pronounced English words mixed with a lot alot alot sibeh banyak Hokkien swear words..the kind of which you might associate with guys who dye their hair multiple colours..wear clashing checkered shirts and smoke and have multiple body tattoos and piercing..

My Piggie Moments~(see my round face)

I have this bad habit nowadays! Ok more than one bad habit to be sure....

1 ) I tend to wanna eat ice cream out of the tub

2)  I tend to munch while I'm studying! and it's always a craving for something sweet~

It's a really really really bad habit..snacking on sweet stuff is ANY GIRL'S downfall!! Just ask around and you'll know...

So I am guessing that most people are succumbing to this bad habit..so I have devised this list below to help us all in our studies...

The most important fact to remember while studying late at night...

NEVER SNACK!!!! NEVER NEVER NEVER SNACK! It'll only make you more bloated..if in any event that you'll feel famished during the course of burning the midnight oil...Just drink some hot water...

DON'T DEPEND ON COFFEE TO WAKE YOU UP...Firstly if you're not a coffee drinker..drinking coffee will bring on undesirable side effects the following day..such as the increased usage of bathrooms and the feeling of dehydration...so the best thing to do is study all you can during the hours when you're awake..and if you have to study late into the night..try to avoid coffee and drink plenty of water at night...Also..just a friendly reminder..no point trying to study while you're tired anyway..you won't absorb anything..

AVOID LATE NIGHT STUDYING! It won't help anyway..the most important thing is to have done all your revision throughout the duration of time..that way you can get a good night's sleep and be well rested to take those exams..

Cliché as this may seem DO REST AND EAT PROPER MEALS..AS WELL AS TAKING SUPPLEMENTS your body will need all the nutrients it can get to fight those stress levels that are probably soaring through the roof now..

Lastly...JUST AIM TO DO YOUR BEST It's probably already enough to guarantee you a good score ( if you've studied) ..no point in trying to force yourself into achieving something that you know you can't get..EX 100 for physics..or whatever subject...

So good luck to all of you who are taking exams like me..

So I have decided to make my blog public again....

It's all because of NUFFNANG!!!

Now what is Nuffnang?

So in that case...since I have NN it would not be beneficial for me to privatise my blog anymore now would it? So through this I'm actually hoping that I  can make some money out of my blog..In that case do expect more random stuff to appear here...=)

Anyway...moving back to random things in my life...so recently a lot of people have been posting videos from a popular Taiwan show called <鑽石夜總會 Diamond Club> which features girls with ordinary or less than ordinary looks transforming themselves into PHAT and HAWT chicks using makeup..so here's some videos from sites like Facebook and Youtube to illustrate my point

The wonders of make-up eh? Everyday we talk about how 'we shouldn't judge a book by its cover' or how 'appearances don't mean much and what's good is the person you are inside' or even 'inner beauty is the key to great outer beauty' 

However, times have changed..there's no such thing as appearances is not important..in fact it's the most important thing we have right now..at a 1st glance..what draws peoples' attention to you? It's definitely going to be your appearance (unless that person's develop some psychic ability to read minds and hear your wonderfully intellectual thoughts)..so what's to say we shouldn't look good nowadays? The moment we step outside we are immediately judged on how we dress how we talk how we speak so that's the reason why people strive to achieve beauty outside..admittedly we still shouldn't judge people solely on appearances but at this moment..it's all we have to gauge them..

So as a conclusion..look good be good people..and everything will be just fine...

As for me..I should learn a few tips from them =)

I Could Really Use a Wish Right Now~

Me again..

So anyway..before starting of my blog post this is probably one of the last few pics you will see of me as my mom suddenly went ballistic and told me not to touch the camera again..well whatever...

From the pic I guess you would have already known that I've trimmed my hair 

AGAIN

I actually don't know why I decided to do it..during Chemistry I was nonchalantly looking at the roots of my hair for any signs of damage and then suddenly the idea of cutting my hair pops out...it could be a sign of exam stress..it could be sign of randomness or it could the marvelous power of peers and their influence (another girl was going to trim her hair)...So merrily my friends and I headed of the my regular hairdresser to trim my locks..and I ended up drastically changing everything..I am happy about my new style..but of course....the story doesn't end here...

My parents blew their top..It all boils down to the fact that I don't have my priorities set right..and the fact that I shouldn't be wasting time when the semester exams are just next week.....Mom literally screamed at me..so I just adopted the best line of defense..stay mute..Dad was all going into his 'I-know-more-than-you-and-if-you-don't-listen-to-me-mark-my-words-you're-going-to-regret-it-and-when-the-time-comes-don't-say-I-didn't-warn-you-and-don't-get-angry-when-I-say-I-told-you-so-' mode...so again..I just stay silent..or more like I pretended to sleep during the ride home..

Even though I know I should have told Mom about me getting a haircut 1st..but for crying out loud it's just a haircut..and I only used like lunch break to do it.....So what's the big fuss...Right now I'm keeping to this vigil of silence..I vow not talk back to my mom when she screams so that she'll lose steam pretty fast...If I do go ballistic as well it'll be WW3....Every little childish act she does I'll just let it be....Every comment she makes I'll just accept it..after all what's the use of going against those who support you? So I'll just tolerate it....

When I look at my classmates having the freedom right now in college..I feel that I'm really shackled..sometimes I view it as a good thing..other times such as these..I feel that it's stifling..and I really wish that my parents could adopt some 'don't care' attitude once in awhile......

Looks like this hols I'm stuck at home again..

Late late late post

This is  by far the post to be all the late night post in terms of lateness..

It's actually 4.15 am

I am up because as usual I am studying for all those test test/quiz quiz/ exams exams coming my way!! Whoopee!!! 

But don't worry folks..I took a nap from 9pm till 11pm...ZOMG...

Haha my favourite word of the month : ZOMG...

Anyway...So this is a bit early but we're planning a class trip to go ECO PARK! Brings back memories..I remembered the last time I went there it was during Form 2 and I kinda enjoyed it..Staying up late doing nothing but just talking..having to shower in the freezing water all the time...Playing all those team  building activities...Even falling down and getting rashes were part of those fond memories..haha..So I really hope that things can work out now and the class is willing to participate in this trip cause it's really enjoyable to just do nothing but have fun..and fresh mountain air will do anyone good!

The marvelous thing about trips is..it brings out the real person..we may go to class everyday and have a fun time sitting there talking..but we don't know how a person really is like underneath..it's only when you stay with that person for a number of days then you can actually sense the true colours underneath all the usual facade they have on in real life...So wonder how would the class be after the trip?

But it's still early days yet..can't wait to call Dusun Eco and get the details sorted out..

Anyway..currently addicted to 'Blue Eyes'..a surprisingly slow and catchy song by Mika..and I read the description posted by someone on Youtube it says The song is about how a woman literally lost her heart on a subway train, and goes to the lost and found to look for it. But there are so many hearts that she cant tell which one is hers.  Isn't that kinda meaningful?

ZOMG!! The days have flown by much too fast..

Next week is my sem exams...Gosh where had all the time gone???

It seems to me that it has evaporated..Now I'm rushing like mad to finish everything in the syllabus before I step into the exam hall..Where are those seniors when you need them to reassure you that you won't flunk your 1st exams????

I vow to never again put off studying..

Short post today people..cause I have really no time to write my long winded ramblings...

Highlight of my life today..Did you guys know that Baskin Robbins opened an outlet nearby my college? (Nearby=within walking distance w/out breaking out into sweat)..It's along the row where Burger King used to be facing the main road of SS15..and boy was it packed when we went there today..it wasn't just us students in that outlet..there were staff members from my college as well...Gosh...BR has certainly made a wise choice in opening an outlet near all us young kids..we tend to spend the most on these luxuries of life..By the way.. I had Rum Raisin today as a treat..it was really nice but my absolute favourite still is Love Potion #31!
